Little Me

Hey guys! Here’s a poem for ya’ll today:

I know you stood at that stage

Wondering if you were good enough.

You read that chapter aloud

Wondering if you were stammering.

You said the correct answer

Wondering if the teacher was impressed.

You stood in the canteen looking at her

Wondering if she ever liked you back.

You sat down with mother

Wondering if you had ever let her down.

Dear Little me,

I wish you could see me now.

And wonder what changed your life,

Into the exquisite hot mess it is right now.

I wanna ask all of you. How do you feel when you think of your childhood? Is there anything you would tell them now that would make their life better? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you for reading:))

  1. Yes, everyone gets those feelings of insecurity in childhood. How and to what extent one overcomes these feelings decide how successful he or she gets as an adult.
    Stay blessed always.

  2. I miss my childhood a lot. I’m 22 now but I still behave like a child sometimes. Even it wasn’t a really best childhood. I’ve missed a lot of things I think. I missed going outside and playing with other kids. And it has its impact on me which won’t go away for life. I wish I were more playful and funny in my childhood. But I miss that, whatever it was!
