Waves of Happiness

Where is the love?

Where are the people?

I’m waiting on the shore.

Waiting for the waves of happiness.

Where are the tears?

Where are the fears?

Waiting for someone who cares

I’m waiting for the waves of happiness.

Where is the laughter?

Where are the memories?

I’m waiting for the moments I’ve lost

Waiting for the waves of happiness.

Where are my friends?

Where are my well wishers?

I’m waiting in the corner of the room.

I’m waiting for the waves of happiness.

Where is the peace?

Where is the chaos?

I’m waiting for some joys and sorrows.

Waiting for the waves of happiness.

Where is my life?

Why am I so lonely?

I’m waiting for some company.

Waiting for the waves of happiness.

I’m lonely.

I’m in tears.

But not depressed.

I’m waiting.

I’m unhappy.

But not heartbroken.

I’m just here.

I need some time.

I’m on the shore.

Waiting for the waves of happiness.

Why should you wait on the shore for the waves of happiness when it is there on the sand you’re standing on?

There are always those little moments in life where you are not able to cope up with people around you and you think you’ve lost everything. That isn’t true. Sometimes, just take a break, follow a hobby, do anything you won’t regret. Don’t force yourself to be someone you’re not. You may be introverted or extroverted but it doesn’t mean that you should be sad.

Happiness often sneaks in through the door you didn’t know you left open.

– John Barrymore

Don’t wait for happiness. It’s always there. It is waiting for you.

Everyone you love won’t be there for there you at anytime you need them. Love them anyway. I’ve said this before and I’ll say this now:

Don’t take life too seriously. You’re not going to get out of it alive anyway.

Don’t fall a victim to loneliness and depression. Embrace your life. Live your life to the fullest. Do the things that make you happy and not the things that you think will make you successful. After all, if you can’t smile for a moment, a salary of a lakh dollars is never helpful. If what you love doesn’t make you happy, why do you think money will?

Today is the day. Now is the time. Live. Love. Laugh. Enjoy.

Thank you for your time:)

  2. I love this❤️❤️!! You’re so right, happiness is like a light switch, sometimes you can just turn it on if you try. Like you said, people won’t be there for you all the time when you need them and I say there a difference between being alone and being lonely. You can be alone and still be happy, you have a choice in both matters, you’ll never “sea” happiness from the shore! You have to go catch your waves of happiness in the water. Lovely write doll.🌹❤️

  3. very lovely post…

“Why should you wait on the shore for the waves of happiness when it is there on the sand you’re standing on”… so true…

But human nature is to run towards whatever seems to be at a certain distance… which gives him nothing, or maybe temporary happiness which doesn’t last even for few moments and again S/he start running for other things… Same continues until death…

Happiness never requires any reasons. It is here and now… 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for your elaborate explanation❤️ It’s very true…. We often tend run behind something thinking that it’ll give us happiness but we fail to realise that happiness is living in the moment…. Love♥️
